ARY EGYPT, VIETNAM STRENGHTEN MILITCOOPERATION

EGYPT HAS SIGNED A LETTER OF INTENT, LOI WITH VIETNAM SEEKING TO STREGHTEN THEIR MILITARY COOPERATION.

EGYPTIAN MINISTER OF DEFENCE AND MILITARY PRODUCTION, GENERAL ABDEL MAGEED SAQR AND VIETNAMESE MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENCE, GENERAL PHAN VAN GIANG SIGNED THE LETTER DURING A MEETING IN CAIRO, WHEN A HIGH-RANKING DELEGATION LED BY VIETNAMESE PRESIDENT, LUONG CUONG, ARRIVED THE COUNTRY.

WHILE SAQR UNDERLINED THE IMPORTANCE OF COORDINATING EFFORTS AND EXPANDING MILITARY COOPERATION TO SERVE THE SHARED INTERESTS OF BOTH COUNTRIES, GIANG EXPRESSED HIS COUNTRY’S KEENNESS ON EXCHANGING MILITARY EXPERTISE WITH EGYPT IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

A MEETING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED BETWEEN VIETNAMESE PRESIDENT AND PRIME MINISTER, MOSTAFA MADBOULY, SENATE PRESIDENT ABDEL-WAHAB ABDEL-RAZEK, AND HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SPEAKER, HANAFY EL-GEBALY, WHERE HE WILL DELIVER A POLICY SPEECH AT THE ARAB LEAGUE HEADQUARTERS.
