NIGERIA, ISRAEL HOLDS PRODUCTIVE DISCUSS ON TERRORISM    

NIGERIA AND ISRAEL HAVE HELD A CONPREHENSIVE AND PRODUCTIVE POLITICAL DIALOGUE WHICH ALSO BORDERS ON SECURITY AS WELL AS TERRORISM DISCUSSIONS.

AT THE MEETING BOTH COUNTRIES OPINED THAT INSECURITY AND ACTIVITIES OF TERRORISTS ARE GLOBAL ISSUES THAT REQUIRE SUPPORT AND COOPERATIONS OF ALL THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY.

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS, AMBASSADOR BIANCA ODUMEGWU-OJUKWU AND ISREALI DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, SHARREN HASKEL-HARPAZ, REPRESENTED THEIR RESPECTIVE STATES DURING THE DISCUSSIONS. THEY OUTLINED SOME OF THE SECURITY CHALLENGES AT THE MEETING WHILE EMPHASIZING THE NEED TO DEEPEN COLLABORATIONS IN THE AREA OF COUNTER-TERRORISM, INTELLIGENCE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION, ESPECIALLY IN THE AREA OF FINANCING AND SECURITY TRAINING
